Family Vacation

This past weekend we took a family vacation to Mostar, BiH, and Dubrovnik, Croatia. We had the best time! Who doesn't love fortresses, ice cream three times a day and yummy seafood?!

Look who's 4!

Hudson just celebrated his fourth birthday! I can't believe how fast the time is going. We celebrated first as a family on his actual birthday. Byron and I took Hudson out to the movies and then dinner to celebrate. And at his request - a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Then today we hosted a Splish Splash Birthday Bash at our house for Embassy friends. The weather was perfect, and everyone had a great time. This time - chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Hudson is one super cool kid, and we sure are blessed to be his parents. Happy Birthday, dude!

The Little Men

Today was Byron's birthday. Hudson and I made him a cake (and we may have sampled it in the process).

We went to the zoo today. It has a few nice animals (none pictured), and it has the best outdoor playground in Sarajevo.

We had pizza and pasta for lunch, and had enough left for dinner too. Who doesn't take their leftover spaghetti home wrapped in just foil?

It was blazing hot out, and we walked all the way to the zoo and then lunch. When we got home, the guys cooled off on the marble floor.

It was a dobar dan.
