Our House

My family recently visited to spend time with us (well, really to spend time with Hudson) and to help us paint the inside of the house. We managed to get the main floor and Hudson's room done while they were here. Check out our house!

Let It Snow

We got lots of snow during the night last night. Here's a picture of our house covered in a blanket of snow. Beautiful!

New Friend

This past weekend we had dinner with our good friend Ashley and her brother Cameron, who was visiting from the Big D. Hudson and Cameron became instant friends.

Today we got a foam alphabet mat for the floor in our living room. Since Hudson is rolling all over the place, we thought it best to cushion the floor a bit with something educational. He likes the bright colors and textures of the mat. We also got out the stacking toy. The top piece rattles, which he loves, and he is really enjoying taking all the rings off of the pole. He's also sitting up pretty well on his own. We put the boppy around him to pad any falls.

Hiking in Northern VA. We had beautiful weather today, so we went for a hike with friends. Hudson LOVES to be outside. We all had a wonderful time.
